for example, do 100 sit ups for 3 sets...
Answer:that means 300 total. just take the amount of reps and multiply it by the number of sets.
100 situps for 3 sets would be 300 situps.
Do 100 sit ups, have a short break and then do another 100, a short break, then the last 100 (if you are not dead by then!!)
Maybe 10 at a time might be a better place to start tho!
Good luck
you do what is asked say 15 to a set or any number designated for your work out. Then repeat the set would mean to do the same number, in this example 15, again.
a set is the amount of repititions you do
For instance, A set of 10 would be 10 repititions.
"do 100 sit ups for 3 sets..."
A set is a collection of repetitions done a specific number of times.
In your example above, you would do 100 sit ups, 3 times, for a total of 300 sit ups (reps).
Reps (repetions) are how many times you do the exercise. If you do 100 sit ups at a time, that is considered 1 set.
100 x 100 x 100= 300, 3 sets geeee that would be a killer
