I cant walk everyday like I want to due to different work shifts...I dont know what are good excercise dvds to buy.... I try to lose weight and be good and eat healty--then I get discouraged after 2 weeks if I dont see any weight loss.I drink lots of water...I have a 4 and a half year old But I get so tired running after her at the park.should I just try to join a gym?Should I keep trying to figure out what to do on my own???MY ?? is I need some pointers (Please be kind)......thanks.............

One reason you get tired chasing your little one at the park is because little kids move faaaast. She does need to run and excersize but you need to be able to do it at your speed, not hers. Maybe a stroller that you could push her in would let you exercize at YOUR speed while still regaining control of your little dynamo. If you can't afford a new one check out some resale shops in your area. Saint Vincent De Paul, Goodwill industries, Salvation Army, to name a few that I am familiar with. Also, with warm weather approaching maybe you can catch a bargain at a rummage sale?

One way to help is to park a long way from the door when you go to a store. Skip the elevator, take the steps. Unless you have a health problem, it will get easier to take the steps as your level of fitness increases.

DO NOT FOCUS ON YOUR WEIGHT.

That can fluctuate naturally. Focus on gaining some endurance so you can take the stairs without huffing and puffing. If it proves hard at first only go one flight of steps then take the elevator. In a week or two go two flights of steps then the elevator till you feel an increase in energy. THAT IS WHEN YOU WILL BEGIN TO EXPERIENCE WEIGHT LOSS, because you will have raised the level of your metabolism.
