What are the risk of taking creatine at 15 years old

Answer:Not sure about age specific info but some folks report headaches, clenched teeth and "the sounds of blood rushing in their ears" when using creatine.
It is possible that due to the fluid retention effect it has, it may have an effect on blood pressure - this seems open to debate.
Some people have reported stomach cramps too.
It can also lead to false alarms with kidney tests as you will have abnormally high levels of the by-product creatinine - usually a cause for concern. It can also mean that a genuine kidney problem goes undetected because the high levels were anticipated - and ignored.
Suggest you discuss with your GP - who knows about your health / any allergies etc or any other conditions which might make the use "ok" or "not ok"
Creatine isn't that great; it's common with highschool sports, yes. But creatine is very 1993-4 in the world of sports nutrition.
Check out websites like www.t-nation.com - and read the forums...learn about Whey Protein, Branch Chain Amino Acids(BCAAs), Real Quantities of Protein, etc....the site is filled with knowledgeable people about health.
If you are poor at 15, as you should be, and not someone who has the ability to afford lots of stuff for your muscle-bound goals - I recommend focusing on getting a Whey Protein supplement(in 5 or 10 lb economy size bags), Eat lots of eggs(2 yolk, 8 white omlettes) and basically just focus on proper form and recovery.
Put Quaker Oats or Irish Cut Oatmeal in your shakes, Essential Fatty Acids(Flax Oil or Udo's Oil) and sprinkle cinammon in there(which will fix your blood sugar), make you clean from acne or whatever you get at 15 these days.

15 is still too young to be taking creatine, but regardless you will get bigger taking it but for best use drink at least a gallon of water a day
