We know fast food is bad for us, especially with movies like Super Size Me So why dont we change our
America is the fattest nation in the world. We also have the most fast food chains in the world. We know what these places do to us. So why don't we change our eating habits?
Answer:Honestly, I think that Americans are so set in their ways that it's just incredibly hard for them to just "Put down the damn burger!" so to speak.
Americans have been told by fast food industries for AGES AND AGES that their food will make them happy, their families happy, and hey, they even dole out toys to little children to distract them while their parents scarf down a greasy burger.
People still eat fast food, EVEN though they know it is bad for them BECAUSE:
A. Most people are working tough jobs and think they do not have enough time to prepare healthy meals for their families, when what they are actually doing is just dooming their children to a lifetime of practical obesity by allowing them to make poor food choices early in life
and
B. Even though all of the information against fast food CLEARLY states that it is bad for ALL people, Americans are just so damn used to driving thru or going in to fast food joints that the habit is virtually impossible to break.
It's really a sad, sick cycle because millions of Americans are likely to either cut their life spans short because of poor eating choices, or end up with terrible, incurable diseases like diabetes.
