Wats the right measure of my height
I am 17 years old and i'm nearly 5 feet (2 more)
Is that short for my age?
Answer:No way.
Actually, your height depends on a lot of factors, heredity being the most important. Now don't judge your height by how tall your parents were. My parents are short (Dad 5'6, and mom 5'4), and I'm 5'10. My grandfather was 6'2, so people say I got it from him. Not that 5'10 is tall, but still.
When you say 2 more, I presume you are 5'2". That definitely is not short for 17 yrs. 5'5"/5'6" is the average height of Indian women, and you definitely have four/five years to reach there.
You should actually be more concerned about your BMI (Body Mass Index), or how much you weigh in relation to your height, rather than how tall you are. If your BMI is between 20 and 22, you are normal. For 5'2", your ideal weight should be less than 55 kgs.
Tell you what, whatever be your height, that should never stop you from achieving what you want to achieve. Does anyone tell Aamir Khan that he is short, and so he can't do what he wants? Once you are successful, nobody will look at such things. They will only look at what you have achieved and what you are.
You have a lot of life ahead of you, kiddo. Enjoy, and all the best.
Well, I'm almost 22 and I'm 5 feet tall...so I'd say no. :D
Height depends on your genetics. Are other people in your family short?
I know people who are under 5' at 20 and who are over 6' at 20 as well. It all depends on how other people in your family are. Don't be afraid to be shorter than others it can be useful at times. =P
The average white american woman is 5'4" so if you are finished growing, which you may be (I stopped at 16 at 5'7")... you are 2" below average....if by 2 more you mean 5'2 more inches.
well, kind of b/c I'm 14 and i'm 5 feet.
Yes but you still have time to grow
