If you take more vitamins and minerals than what you are supposed to everyday, does your body use all that you need then throw away the extra stuff, or does it use it then store it for later use?
Answer:Excess vitamins are excreted when urinating. They are not
stored up for future use.
It will dump it. Thats why if you take too much than your literally pissing away your money
few vitamins like vitamin C is washed out when taken in excess others may get stored like vitamin A, if you are taking vitamins take it in alternate months or days, or as prescribed by your doc or because excess of vitamin in body causes hypervitaminosis
Be careful! Unless you have a decease that robs your body of vitamins, certain vitamins and minerals (like Iron) can accumulate in your body and cause harm, like a poison, to your body. Many Multi-Vitamins contain Iron, Iodine, Calcium, Niacin, Copper, and so on. Your body need all of these but too much of these particular vitamins could be dangerous! Some vitamins that may not include vitamin C, Chromium, and Silver. The best advice I can offer- do things in moderation- take only one Multi-Vitamin a day!
