I heard that people with some fat on their belly will not get good results if they do ab workouts because their fat is covering their ab muscles. I want to know if this would happen to me, Im 16 years old 5'5 and 140 lbs, if i start working out my abs, will i see any results??
Answer:I'm in pretty good shape. Like someone said before, running is a good exercise in beginning with. My workout is just run 2 or 3 miles, lift weights, push-ups, and abdominals. Don't forget to stretch before and after each exercise though. I used to not do it, but it really makes your exercise more useful.
duuuuuuuuuuu yes.
It is really hatrd to judge your fitness and the amount of fat you have with just your height/weight. Whether you have extra fat or not, you'll see (and feel) some results, but doing cardio workouts, like running, along with your ab workout will remove fat and make your progress stand out a lot more.
