COST IN THE REGION OF 300 US DOLLARS
SHOP AROUND
Zoom typically costs between $199 and $299. Several dentists in your area may offer Zoom, so check with more than one to see if their pricing is competitive.
No dental insurance I know of will pay for Zoom.
I've seen it run in the neighborhood of $500 to $600. Some dentists will offer it as a free incentive to become a patient, so you may be able to take advantage of that.
Truth be told, Zoom may not work any better than the traditional take-home trays offered by dentists. Results take a bit longer, but the price difference is substantial and all you have to do is be a bit patient.
All methods of whitening make your teeth more sensitive than before, but the sensation is temporary and certain fluoride products greatly reduce the sensitivity.
If it was me, I'd put in the work to wear the take-home trays for a couple of hours each night and save the $$ for something else.
PS: Zoom is hardly "new". It's been around for several years...long enough for some objective studies to be done.
