Yellow stains around braces

i just got braces like 10 days ago and i mostly take good care of my teeth; i brush twice a day ,use mouth wash and a flourdie rinse but i gave up on flossing cus it was 2 hard....is there a reason for the yellow stains and how to i get rid of them and will there do any significant damage?..thanks!
Answer:i have that same prob. i hate flossing. the worst thing that will happen is you will have whitespots in the middle of the tooth where it is sorrounded by yellow. go to the DENTIST not orthodontist you can have it polished off. or you can wait until you get the braces off and get whitestrips. thats what im going to do.
The stains are from what you drink and eat. Try brushing teeth with baking soda w/ a little water to make a paste.
mmm, that's weird... why don't u try with a whitening tooth paste? i've had the braces for almost 5 yrs (can u believe that? :P), but almost done... i'm just waiting for my dentist to take them off and i will get into sum whitening treatment
Its diet related. Curries, tea and coffee can stain braces and teeth, smoking is a big one. If you do any of the above, you'll get stains.
Erm, flossing may be hard, but its worth it. Dont skimp on it!
all you can do is give it a good brush and wait till you go back to have them tightened. make sure you clean your teeth for the reccomended 6 mins.
