Im 13 years old and 3 of my wisdom tooth are almost done coming out, but my teeth are getting crowded. Is installing braces into my teeth a good idea?
Answer:ask ur dentist. maybe have some teeth pulled.
Your dentist should know what to do. He will more than likely pull your wisdom teeth before you get braces, if they are necessary. Make sure you brush up, and ask for an appointment!
not until you get the wisdom teeth removed. It is very hard to keep them clean and will almost always result in a cavity anyhow. So go ahead and have them removed. Sometimes the teeth will all "fall" back into place without braces.
If your teeth are getting crowded, braces aren't going to help. The dentist might have to pull out your wisdom teeth to stop the crowding. Then, he can put in the braces. There's no use for braces if there's not enough space in your mouth.
I was about 18 when my wisdom teeth came in. My dentist recommended that I see an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth surgically removed because my lower two wisdom teeth were impacted. That surgery went fine for me.
well...the wisdom teeth have to all come out first. (it isn't as bad as it sounds, really) even if the last one has not pushed it's way thru (it is impacted) then some people have to have a couple other teeth removed as well to make plenty of room for the teeth to shift when you have braces. It is a good idea if you have the option to get orthodontics. I did not when I was your age and it left my teeth crowded, now at 23 I have had my wisdom teeth out and my braces should be on shortly after my 24th b-day.
Don't worry. The dentist will remove them before he gets started with the braces.
that is a question best ask of you dentist because if you teeth have a good line then braces may not be necessary he might recommend that you have one or more of your wisdom teeth taken out. See your dentist to be sure before you see about braces they are expensive and painful at times
no!!! at least not while they are still in your mouth (wisdom teeth). Ask your dentist to take them out and then give ou braces to correct any problems you may have right now due to the delay not taking them out earlier!!!!
