ive gota have one or maybe more wisdom teeth out in the hospital, my dentist said i may have an injection or may be asleep depending how many they take out, ive never had an injection in my mouth before so im scared! is there a spray/gel they can put on my gum before they inject??? thanks
Answer:Don't worry! Yes!!! There is a gel that they put on your gum before tehy give the injection to you. You will barely feel it, and if you do, it will be like an annoying pinch feeling!! I had all 4 wisdom teeth taken out in hospital and it was no where near as bad as I expected. Truly, you will be fine :-) Don't stress, take it from me (a big wuss!!!) that you will be fine :-)
Yes! but in all fairness the injection doesn't hurt that much anyway!
Yes, they numb the area w/ some liquid on a q-tip then give the shot. For wisdom teeth removal though you will probably have gas and maybe even an I.V.
Injections in your mouth don't hurt much at all, I had my wisdom tooth out and didn't even feel the injection. It's a little unpleasant afterwards because it will ache for a few days but it's better than the pain you will have to go through if you don't have it done. Don't worry, you'll be fine.
the injection only hurts a very little bit
its the pain after the injection wears off that you have to worry about
I had my wisdom teeth (all of them!) out in hospital last year. I was really surprised how easily them came out! The injection they give is just a scratch on the inside of your cheek and gum - and it will freeze your mouth. The dentist will then pull at the tooth until it loosens, and then it comes out.
