Why isnt when someones teeth are yellow
people think they have bad hygeine? Me my teeth are yellowish-white and i take really good care of my teeth brush twice a day and floss, and my dentist says i have excellent teeth. on the other hand i have a friend who hardly ever brushes her teeth drinks coke smokes and here teeth are way whiter than me. I really think it has to do with genetics...anyone agree?
Answer:Another explanation that I heard links yellow teeth to excessive intake of antibiotics. I don't know what they meant by excessive.

My girlfriend had a brother like your friend...drank pop, coffee, smoked..did not brush that often..no flossing yet he had white teeth and no cavities?
Kathy had sort of yellow teeth, cavities, and she brushed after ever meal and flossed plus she watched what she ate and they had the same parents...genetics? maybe
just luck would be my guess..ask a dental hygienist or a dentist for their input as their are treatments on the market...also OTC

it all depends i heard that it can be because of the colour of you gums that can give you yellowish or white teeth but sometimes it can be because of diet and or smoking.My friend used to smoke and drink soft drink and she has really good teeth and they are better than mine and i never smoked.it all depends on the person.
