The days after you get braces or getting a cavity filled? Im getting braces and just wanna know a deep explanation of the pain.
Answer:I've had both, and sorry to say, the braces hurt worse. When you get a cavity filled, they usually give you a shot of novicaine, for braces, they don't do anything like that. The best bet is to take something like tylenol the day you get braces and maybe a day or two afterwords also, and you should be fine. It will all be worth it!
i have had both and def. the 2-3 days after you get your braces.
The braces hurt more. Just take a lot of pain medicine and you won't really be to really eat solids. When I got my braces on I couldn't even eat bread. But after about 2 days you feel fine.
