According to me to reduce tence you must remove or delete the unwanted storage in your mind and thinking which creates tence.Or try to solve the problem which creates tence if that also does not happen then simply forget it wich creates tension no other way according to me but i do'n know about you.

In now day to day life we are very prone to tension.and to fight tense the best way is to laugh at full pitch,enjoy some lonely moments, be yourself only.because the person we love the most is just our own self.So please do take care of your own self and try to be just youself and do something you really enjoyed at early life.and above all do yoga

Exercise--mild or hard--depending on your capabilities. (age and physical condition)

Hard: Jogging, a good hard workout--jumping rope

Mild: Just moving body parts, lifting arms, tensing then relaxing musles of all parts of the body. (until you feel the muscles relaxing)

Also, sometimes a couple of Tylenol will help me. I know, Tyelnol is for pain, but it will also help in relaxing the tension.

If it is from worry, try to think of other things--read a book, watch tv, try to think of other people's problems. lol
