spacers or braces
Answer:I asked the same question... and for ME I definitly have to say spacers!!! Those things are K-I-L-L-E-R. I know how you feel. They put 8 in, and after they did it they realized they only needed 4... I was like.... "grrrrr" and then they later had to put four more in.My braces didn't hurt hardly at all. But I do have a really good orthodontist that we paid lots of money for. So it really depends on your dentist.

well i dont know about spacers, but i have braces and THEY HURT A LOT! mostly the first day, but every time u go again, which is once a month, they tighten them and it hurts! lol
I've had both and I can tell you that braces are tight and can cause you to not chew for days!
they don't hurt but they create a sense of pressure at times...............
